New Blooms, Old Paintings

My first nasturtium has opened. I really ought to get off the couch and take a few pictures. Yawn. Just so lazy today.

And the coneflowers are starting to bloom. I bought a few more plants this year, and can't decide if I want more white ones or pink ones. This is an orange one. Trust me, it's supposed to be orange. The paintings above are from 2008.

If you would like to use any of these images for your desktop, right click and choose Set as Background. I'm happy to share.

Wow, Melody! I knew you quilt and knit extraordinarily well, but your paintings blew me away! How incredibly cheerful and beautiful they are. If they were hanging in my house my eye would be constantly drawn to them. Thank you so much for sharing so much of yourself with us.

  3. Hey, Melody,
Your groupies don't allow you to have couch time until you take some photographs for us every day. LOL. Loved the watercolors!

    Querida,

"Coneflower" is my most prized possession! It always takes me back to the Mexican Chalet.

  11. Thanks, I think I will (use one of your paintings as background). My computer got cleaned up and all I had was the generic background - a much needed upgrade. Thanks again.
