Snowday!

After days of constant rain, it finally got cold enough to turn to snow. Our pond is full to overflowing and the snow is sticking to everything but the streets. So pretty. I had to hurry to capture the beautiful whiteness before it all melts.

Very pretty. I forget is this the doggies first snow? Can't wait to see them out in it. You can now wear your new capelet!

We haven't had anything more than brief flurries so far, glad it went south of us. I have to say it is pretty though............

Must be nice. So much rain here in Michigan that my basement is seeping water from the floor. Bye bye carpet!

I've never really liked snow. Even as a kid, I would have much rather stayed inside reading a book or doing art projects than play in the snow---and Minnesota always has a lot of it! But your pictures are so beautiful they make me almost wish that it would snow here now. (It will, soon enough. This is Minnesota, after all!) Maybe if it would only accumulate on the trees and grass instead of the streets and sidewalks, I would like it more...!

Makes me miss living on the east coast but I don't miss ice storms and shoveling snow.

I wonder if seeing something like that ever makes you want to make a quilt in shades of grey and white? I bet there would be a shot of color in there somewhere!!
