Puppy Days
I had to get Chumley into town early this morning for his operation, and he was a champ. He loves being able to finally jump into the van and gets a big round of applause and "Good Puppy" accolades. But he was soooo ready for the neutering, since Tuesday when he fell madly in love with this pillow. Mommy was not happy to see her baby grow up.
+++Gift for Your Favorite Knitter+++
Here's an inexpensive item to make every knitter happy. A little Sterlite case with a handle from Target or your local dollar store, with a hole (or more) drilled into the top to thread the yarn through. I will have to drill two at least, since I so often use two yarns at once. Everything stays clean and neat and visible, for only $3.50. Can't be beat.

Good luck Chumley!
ReplyDeleteLove the gift idea!! Might have to give myself one!
great idea ! Love it !
ReplyDeleteI cringe everytime I see Chumley on that beautiful quilt. You have so many that I guess it doesn't bother you. Yes, I will admit that Chumley is cute.
ReplyDeleteOh no, now you will be looking at every container as a yarn jar. BTW - small bullion cube jars (plastic lid) make great jars for smaller balls of yarn. Peanut butter jars for little bigger balls. But, duh, I never thought of using a big one for more than one color!
ReplyDeleteOh and I should have added since we're on the subject, (snark) good luck Chum!
ReplyDeleteMel, you should patent the idea....someone else will and make a fortune. Clever girl!
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful idea! I've already have a person in mind to get one.
ReplyDeleteLooks like an old Merrimekko fabric on that pillow. GO Chumly!
ReplyDeleteMelody,
ReplyDeleteNot to be a party pooper, but don't expect Chum's "pillow attacking" to go away immediately. Some of that is more about dominance than hormones. I had a girl dog that did it to her "brother" for many years. Hope his operation went well and it will protect him from some nasty cancers and of course, no little Chums. Lois
