There was a HUGE quilting fabric section and not just solid colors either, but I liked the way those looked the best, so here they are.
Lots of nice yarns too, and I was looking for a wool bamboo blend, and may have to purchase some in the future. Of course I had to take a picture of yarn named Melody, but it didn't come home with me either.
I didn't think it would be a superstore, with all the art and craft supplies, but I am happy to say I was wrong.
A super selection of books, including lots of knitting books, and magazines in another section. Too many to show here, of course.
And there is a big jewelry making and scrapbooking area, plus lots of garment and decorator fabrics. I love this thread display. It is so great to have this selection to add to Hobby Lobby and Michael's as well as the local quilt and yarn shops. It feels like more than enough choice.
I spent $14 with a coupon...of course. I got 5" bamboo dp needles and a painting magazine. Woowoo!

What a fantastic choice! You were very restrained.
ReplyDeleteWow! The place looks great! Wish we had one by us!
ReplyDeleteAll that fabric! Oh my!! You were good spending just $14!
ReplyDeleteI have a used the Bamboo ewe yarn before. I made a hat for my daughter. It has washed well.
ReplyDeleteWOW!! How wonderful! You'll never be bored!!
ReplyDeleteWhat can I say but....Wow!
ReplyDeleteNow we just need them to come to Singapore!
Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteI love those stores when they are brand new with everything in its place.
ReplyDeleteFeeling jealous now! All of those quilting solids - they cost $15/m here! And it is all neat and tidy, though I guess it won't be for long! I've got some of that bamboo ewe yarn in cobalt. I don't often buy Red Heart yarn but it was cheapish and there and pretty :-)
