Reruns
Print Parade #1-#6, machine pieced cottons, machine quilted and some hand embroidery.

I was successful at doing nothing yesterday so today I am showing reruns. These are all in the 22" square range and were made in January of 2009. At the time I wasn't so enchanted with them, but as I added them to my Flickr page, and got reacquainted, I sorta fell in love. Time changes things.
Knitting today, and I lied. I did knit a lot yesterday, on the porch in the breeze. I revived.
Very inspiring!
ReplyDeleteI love the colours,
I like the way you've broken up the larger pieces of print, especially in the borders. That way, the eye doesn't just brush past the borders.
ReplyDeleteKnitting doesn't count! I love these quilts too.
ReplyDeleteI love quilts that look like yours, i'm attracted to all the little pieces that look like there just sprinkled on the top....I understand about not always liking something. I did a ocean quilt, that I wasn't all that fond of at the time.....now its a personal favorite.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad they grew on you because it was love at first sight for me! Still a fan!!!
ReplyDeleteThese appeal to me. I like the big borders and then the activity inside the borders. Well done.
ReplyDeletewow its beautiful
ReplyDeleteI just happened upon your site through one of the many paths we take looking at the great work of others, and I felt happy looking at the great colors. What joy your have put into these quilts. Thank you for starting my day this way.
