Reruns

Print Parade #1-#6, machine pieced cottons, machine quilted and some hand embroidery.
(These pictures don't enlarge with a click. For full size views see the Flickr page on the right)
I was successful at doing nothing yesterday so today I am showing reruns. These are all in the 22" square range and were made in January of 2009. At the time I wasn't so enchanted with them, but as I added them to my Flickr page, and got reacquainted, I sorta fell in love. Time changes things.
Knitting today, and I lied. I did knit a lot yesterday, on the porch in the breeze. I revived.

  2. I like the way you've broken up the larger pieces of print, especially in the borders. That way, the eye doesn't just brush past the borders.

I love quilts that look like yours, i'm attracted to all the little pieces that look like there just sprinkled on the top....I understand about not always liking something. I did a ocean quilt, that I wasn't all that fond of at the time.....now its a personal favorite.

  6. These appeal to me. I like the big borders and then the activity inside the borders. Well done.
