Beach Party

I was shopping last week on Fabric.com, doing a search for striped cottons, thinking about using them for quilts. But this Waverly decorator fabric shoved its way to my screen, and tantalized me with a sale price. Regularly $15.98 reduced to $4.49 at 54 inches wide, cotton duck. I ordered nine yards and just checked and see now it is all sold.

I made all this stuff today and still have a bunch of fabric left. This isn't a quilt, but a topper for the summertime when a blanket or quilt is way too much. I have hope that summer will get here eventually. The stripe made it easy to have two differently patterned sides on that little pillow.

  7. Wow I love it, although in my house the wall would be turquoise. I just love your use of color and I agree with KC Quilter -- all that in one day, overachiever indeed.

Love it, but please take the fabric off the lamps - serious fire hazard. I would hate to see that beautiful room destroyed by fire.
