The Move
We got it all down the stairs and into the studio and then had to take a nap.
Earlier we had been looking at stuff on Craig's List and decided to go for an offer of a 'vintage' (meaning old crap) shabby chic armoire and bathroom cabinet from a gal down the mountain. We have La Bamba for just such an adventure. She was moving out of a farm house built in 1916, but the armoire and cabinet were newish not antique (Target?). Still we went for them both. We should have done this 20 years ago when we were more in shape. The thing weighed a ton and it remains in La Bamba today. Perhaps someday we will recuperate and be able to bring it into the house.
My work is cut out for me today. At least I won't be climbing stairs. oof.

ReplyDeleteI am so glad to know I am not the only person who moves into a room only to discover I (or someone else) needs to be in another room.
ReplyDeleteI can't believe how tidy all your stuff is even in the middle of changing rooms. I kept looking at all my crap while I've been unpacking & sorting & moving it around this week, wondering a) how the hell you make it look so easy, b) whyfor is my Stuff SO much messier than yours, and c) how you get everything moved so fast!
