Mushroom Festival

These are all mushrooms from our yard. I noticed the red round ones first and thought someone had dropped a stolen tomato, but NO. It is a musroom! All these fotos were taking yesterday morning and are clickable.

Don't worry, I am not eating any of these. Just admiring.
We are busy moving stuff out of the upstairs rooms in preparation for the new floors. Lots of up and down the stairs with furniture and boxes. O my achin' knees.
It looks like the painting a day idea is going to be on hold for a while. While my sister is here, we will no doubt be breaking into the fabric stash. She ordered a Janome 6500 from Ebay and had it delivered here. It will be dueling sewing machines! Woowoo!

  1. those are the neatest mushrooms! I wonder if your soil produces different varieties because of its content.

Have fun with Brooke next week.

    I love them.
Will we be seeing some of them in your paintings in the future?
