O Happy Day and Praise the Lord!

My quilts are here!

I finally got one of the two pieces of missing luggage today at noon. Luckily the first day of class kits were sent already and we had everything we needed to begin. I am over the moon to have my quilts, patterns and fabric in my possession again. But not for long, as it was a fabric and pattern feeding frenzy as soon as they all arrived. O Happy Day for us all!

We are doing Sunflowers today, and the sun is cooperating and is beaming, as am I.

Lots of color in this design, and fancy cutting in the leaves and flower petals. This design is being fused onto the release paper of the Wonder-Under and is positioned by the pattern underneath, which is clearly visible to the artist at work.

After the leaves and flowers are assembled on the paper, they are peeled off and fused to the background fabric. More details, trees and little flowers are going to be added later to finish off this composition.

I will be washing out my clothes again tonight, and although I didn't mention it before, the toilet in my room was an all night runner, and I requested a fix, and tonight when I returned to my room an entirely new flushing system replaced the old one.

Could this day get any better?
