The Land of Milk and Honey

We decided on a mini vacation up nort in middle Wisconsin, Richland Center, Spring Green and thereabouts. The minute we passed the border of IL into WI, it all becomes so lush, green and hilly. The Wisconsin River valley is full of gorgeous farms, and lots of piney woods. But the first thing we think of is cheese and beer.

It may be the sticks but the Mexican restaurant we found had Negro Modelo beer. I stuck with a New Glarus micro-brewed bottle of Spotted Cow. Later we invested in a six pack of New Glarus Fat Squirrel. Lots of goonie guys work at that brewery.

If you look really hard, or click to get the enlarged picture, you can see Dave sitting on the porch of a home we visited.

WE are doing a tour of Two Person Bubble Tubs of Wisconsin.

Below is our heart shaped tub in our room in the Ramada Inn in Richland Center.

We decided we would rather have one of these instead of a hot tub. Only thing is that our house has no room for a tub like this. We'll have to get a different house if we want this tub.
It could happen.

Ah....some of the most wonderful country there is. That's what I miss about Wisconsin....weekends spent exploring on the cheap...I was, after all, a poor college student!!
