Melissa lives in Sedona AZ, which led me to make color choices based on the place. I have actually been there and seen the landscape and it is amazing. Luckily I had just the right fabrics to make this desert come alive.

I'm looking at it for the first time now at a little after 4:20pm, and the day is indeed beginning the transition into night. Perfect synchronicity, perfect quilt. Happy dance here ...
