A Reason to Knit

Lovely Anne Marie, who I met yesterday at Three Black Sheep, agreed to model the jacket for me. It's good to know that it looks great even on a petite figure. But then what doesn't?
It's all very exciting. This jacket is proving to be a hit, and I have three readers already interested in having me knit one for them. At last I have REASONS to be knitting. I already have the yarn and the desire to make stuff, but needed a recipient. Here are some yarn combos that I feel will make a wonderful garment. To get the right effect, one of the yarns should be multicolored and the other can be a solid. In the original, both were multis. The interested parties can email me with their color choice. I'll gladly knit a swatch sample to make the final decision easier.

  6. Will you do a pattern for this? I'm swimming in Noro Silk Garden and this would work great for that. I just can't stop buying those Noro yarns

Gorgeous! I'd love to wear one of your sweaters. Color choices? Cost? Timeline?

  10. I would be interested in the #9 color combination but I am not a petite size (sigh) so maybe you wouldn't have enough yarn to knit an extra large size 14? I wouldn't be in a rush to receive it, it was 95 degrees here yesterday so it would be many months before I could wear it.
I have admired your artistry for many years.

What a generous offer, and what an amazing jacket design. I have always knitted for others and rarely myself. Cost is no problem. Option #2 is beautiful, as are all of them. The jacket is very flattering. Ritarandrblues@aol.com
