Paint Play #3
Acrylic paint, colored pencils, ink, collage on archival mat. 8x10".
I only had time for one painting yesterday as we had to go to Nashville's Vanderbilt University Medical Center to see a new neurologist about Dave's Parkinson's.
The doctor was so cute and young, like 32! And so funny. We had a great time and Dave seemed totally healthy all day.
We discussed DBS (deep brain stimulation) and while it all seemed promising to me, Dave is having none of it for now. For some reason he dislikes having his brain hooked up to electrical leads and zapped intermittently.
OK. I get it.
But it was a really great trip, four + hours in the car, and getting lost only twice. We had a bit of lunch at Panera (always a treat for me) and dinner at a Taco Bell, so it was like a date, sorta. The rush hour traffic leaving Nashville reminded us how happy we are to be retired and living in the boonies.
And the dawgs were sooooo happy to see us again, and that we hadn't abandoned them forever. Sillies!
