Shop at Home

Everyone is having super sales this weekend and I am not going down alone.Quilt Home has about 1200 fabrics on sale at up to 60% off. Good stuff, not pitiful prints. Altho I am not quilting at this time (it goes in phases with me) I have a hard time resisting bargains.

Brandon Mably BM02-Pink Fabric $4.03 per yard
And http://fabric.com has hundreds of cotton prints for $3.95 and $4.95. One could spend all day looking at the choices. They also have yarn, notions, patterns etc.
Montreux Leaves Coral $3.95
I was unable to resist buying more yarn and put in an order just large enough to get free shipping from Little Knits. The store is in Seattle and it usually takes a week to arrive, so by the time it gets here I have forgotten what I ordered and it's like Christmas, Woowoo!

Louisa Harding Thistle - Aqua (Color #4) - FULL BAG SALE
Another online shop that has great deals is Mr. Yarn. O dear.  The more you buy, the lower the cost per unit. So many fabulous colors, eeek! (I'm in an aqua mood).

I'm knitting along on the deck today, resting my bad knees. I had to suspend my participation in Jazzercise, as I behaved like a 17 year old and of course hurt myself. When will I learn? This time I paid attention early and am letting my knee heal by not overdoing it. I am good at that too. ha!

The weather here has been rainy all week, and now the heat will descend upon us and I can watch the garden explode. Too exciting.

The hydrangea is starting to color up purply-pink.
Have a great holiday weekend!

Best inspiration ever putting in that deck. I remember the day you wrote about your lightbulb idea.

  2. Your flowers are all so beautiful! I can't wait to see what you're knitting.
We do forget about our age until it hurts, don't we? I bought new sneakers and I'm trying to run again, with sore knees and hips, of course.

I am trying to ignore your website links. I haven't used the yarn I bought another time you mentioned a great deal!

  5. Beautiful Hydrangeas, and is that a Magnolia in the shot above? What a marvelous view you must have from the deck! As for your sore knees, it might be that the jazzersize is too intense for you. I can strongly recommend a power walk video by Leslie Sansome... I have one with 5 1-mile segments that I can do in the comfort of my guest room, and it's definitely helping with my weight loss... down over 26 lbs since October! Take care of those knees, and enjoy your weekend!
