In The Pink

Now this is more like it. I am so happy working with pink and green, in my nice cleaned up studio.
As mentioned, I started with the leftover centers which were built for something else, who knows what? None of them featured pink, but there were a few with hints of green, and I liked the idea of not having everything too matchy-matchy. There are more different greens than any other color, and as far as I am concerned, they all go together. Digging into my scraps, I found some strip fused pinks and some pastel strips in greens, giving me a head start.

I save all sorts of stuff that didn't work out in other work, and it gives me a chance to use it in new work. Everything fusible is usable. Words to live by.
I will spend a few hours rearranging these blocks and decide what kind of connecting fabrics to make and use to fill in the gaps. Sunday is a great day to be in the studio, as all my fave radio programs are on Nashville's NPR station. Says You, Wait Wait, Don't Tell Me, Studio 360, The Splendid Table and the Prairie Home Companion.
