Resurrection

The rebuilding of our quilt shop Sew Be It has really taken off. It has been a little over a month since the tornadoes hit northeastern Georgia. It is amazing to me that this has progressed so far. Thanks to Martha Steele for providing the photo montage.

I'm off to knitting today,
Love,

So happy for you that they are re-building. Nice to have a place to gather with the ladies.

Those water lilies are just dreamy.

Thanks for the update! I pass this on to some of my friends who travel and look for shops! Tough enough being in business, then top it off with a tornado...yuck.

I live one hour from Joplin, Missouri. This has been the worst year I can remember for these terrible storms in Missouri. So glad the quilt shop can be rebuilt.

Hi, I work(ed) at Sew Bee It when the tornado destroyed our beautiful shop. Thankfully, none of us were there, as it hit at 8:30pm and all of us weathered the storm without any damage at home (save for a few branches down). It was a great loss to all of us who worked there as well as to our owner, Gloria. Last night was exactly 4 weeks since the tornado hit. We were able to salvage some of the fabric, but lost much of our inventory. Gloria is determined to reopen and for that we are also thankful. Please keep us all in your thoughts and prayers as we move forward with reopening.
