Yay!!!! What gorgeous colors! Doesn't it feel like spring around here??????? As many times as I've said I couldn't wait for you to get back to quilting, I must say I've enjoyed every single post! I can't wait to see more of this...when I look at it I feel happy and forget about this dreary weather.
Ooh - that's quite a tip about sewing the top directly to cotton batting. That might have saved a pillow top of mine that has finally succumbed to all the wear and tear of daily use. The fabric has torn in stressed areas, from seams to "extreme wrinkles", but the next one will be better if made the Melody Way. Thanks for the tip!
As an artist, one of my goals is to take risks, try new ideas, and find a way to give myself that 'thrill' that making art can provide. Words of encouragement are always accepted.

Beautiful fresh colors. Were you inspired by two of your Goodwill purchases?
