Update on The Big Yarn Sale
I really thought I could organize all this yarn in a day or two, but it seems to be growing as I open each box. As you can imagine, I have to fondle every ball and skein (Stop it!) as I see them and make a decision. It isn't hard work but the decision making is what wears one out.
And I am grouping things that go together and just when I think I have got it, I find I have another one to add to the already uploaded item, and have to reshoot the picture and change the amounts.
Then I find I can't count properly and you'll see repeated numbers midway on the list. To fix that I have added a letter, like 36a for example. I am a moron. But then you know that already.
To take a break and get some fresh air Dave and I went to the county seat and VOTED EARLY!!
YAY!!! Once again we find ourselves in the minority, judging by the party signs in yards along the way. But I believe Our Guys will be the winners anyway. And we are used to being the grains of sand in the local oyster.
So hopefully I will be finishing up today and can start the weekend free for all on Saturday. Stay tuned. And HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

I am resisting the urge to buy some of your yarn. I can't fit what I have in my closet now.

The ponies arrived safely yesterday. Now I just need to resist the urge to give them to my BFF too early (I leave the 13th of Dec. for Nova Scotia so she WILL get her gift early).

I live in a predominantly Republican area and I am amazed (and delighted) to see more Obama/Biden signs than the other....including on some very upscale ($3 mil +) homes around the lake. I think EVERYONE is tired of what's been going on for the last 8 years.

Waiting anxiously for the "sale", but like Teri....I don't have any more room in my sewing room for one more skein of yarn. Ya, right...I'll keep telling myself that! LOL

We also live in a predominately Republican area. What's wrong with these people???? Can't they see that McCain will be just another Bush?? And Palin.....she is downright scary! I think Republicans are Republicans no matter what. I know my BIL is. Guess they (middle-class Republicans) like living in a bad economy and paying higher prices for everything and seeing our country go down the drain.

Sorry...I'll get off my soap-box now.
