Little Blue Pitcher

Little Blue Pitcher

oil on gallery wrapped canvas, 12x12x1"

Sold

One of my favorite things about these paintings is finding the shadows. The overlapping shadows are formed by two different light sources, one from a lamp and the other from the window.

The blue pitcher was one of the items I recently purchased at the annual World's Longest Yard Sale which takes place on Interstate 127 from Alabama to Ohio every August. If you ever plan to visit me, this is the when you would want to come. Anything and everything is for sale.

Yes that it is a red citrus reamer at the back of the fruit. Crate and Barrel. I had to have one red thing, to round out the primaries.

  1. I found something magical about this composition and the yes your colors dance on the canvas. Again your generosity with your process is an invaluable gift. Imagine Peace, Mary Helen Fernandez Stewart

  2. I do want that blue pitcher. I want to hold it and fill it and pour with it. I love the shape!

When is the garage sale? Maybe Chris and I will come visit then.
