So many of the paintings I love by the Painting a Day people involve the reflections of the objects they are painting. I decided I had to try this out too. I found an 18x24" piece of glass in the potting shed and placed that on my husband's black windbreaker. I couldn't find any black fabric in my stash. Can you imagine?
Well it did the trick. Almost mirror like. But the the reflections weren't clear so I adjusted and readjusted the lighting and ended up practically painting in the dark so I could get good reflections. There must be a better way...

would it work better on a mirror instead of glass?
