Usually I don't do artwork with symbols, but this one seems to have loads of symbolic connections. The deer skull which we found on our late winter walks on the mountain had been lurking in my studio waiting to get into the picture. And the very recent tainted tomatoes news, while looking very life affirming, may make one sick. And the 'poison apple' of Snow White fame is so well documented in all kinds of literature. Pushing up daisies...need I continue?
Well of course, I meant none of that for this arrangement. It was a trial and error kind of thing, looking for color and shape and how the light falls on the objects. But funny how they added up to have that unintended theme.

    Mel,
You do indeed have an artist's mind.....now paint one with the skull and just the apple core and a few bites from the tomato along with a droopy daisy........might call it
Looking forward.......you are so funny. I envy your talent and wit!!!
