This Consumer reports

The new slippers made from that new to me Plymouth Boku wool/silk yarn. I liked the look of the skein, but was not too happy with the blah interior colors. Yuk. But they will no doubt hide the mud dust when I walk in them on the porch. The yarn itself was delicious to knit. No slubs to get in the way and very little straw, as one often gets with Noro Kureyon (which I love, mind you.)
I was so enthralled with Magic Loop knitting that I went ahead and ordered four pairs of Knit Picks Harmony wooden 32" needles to knit socks, etc. Well... they were only $5.99 each.

And usually I am less impulsive. But this time it worked in my favor. They are lovely, even if so slender you can barely see that they are multicolored woods.

The fact that the cable is supple is more important than the color and the nexus of the needle and the cable is smooth and not snaggy so the yarn slips nicely, which one does often when one knits in the round...the whole point of these needles and this method.

Although they came in less than a week, I couldn't wait and bought some Addi's at the Genuine Purl and made the slippers above. Yummy to knit with and twice the price of the new Knit Picks ones. O well.
The girl's gotta have it.
And proof that I have time on my hands...

Ten stitches in the round, size 3 Knit Picks 32" cable needles, wool worsted.

  1. So you got the new needles already? How do you like the ones from KnitPicks? I am thinking I want to try some.
