Pine Patch 2

Pine Patch 2
Hand dyed and vintage cottons, fused, hand and machine quilted
16.5x17"
This detail is for the reader who asked how I sign my quilts. Machine stitching, free motion.

And here is a question from a reader:
Melody,
Have you ever thought of teaching a class on line about computers and quilting? I would love to understand how you combine the two! And you could stay home and still teach…..
Dear Reader,
Um, I use the computer to show off, to blather, and keep track of dates and stuff I made (quilts) instead of having to remember anything.
Like so many of us, I get up turn on the computer and look to see if I got email (about quilts). Sometimes I chat online with my sister and niece (about quilts).
Then I take a picture of my newest piece, upload it and write a blog ( mostly about quilts).
Um, I also download lots of podcasts from Itunes to listen to when I make quilts.
That's about it.
Not much of a class (about computers and quilts). But I got to stay home.

Thanks to you and Tommy I have also gotten hooked on audiobooks. Since I am going to be doing a lot of traveling (off to Nova Scotia) for the holidays, I downloaded "I am Legend" to my iPod. So much easier to carry than 4 or 5 books!! And, I can listen and knit at the same time!!

I am loving your pine series! How delightful it is to keep seeing new pieces.

Your "computers and quilting" class made me smile, too.
