A big Thank YOU!
Dear Faithful Reader,
You have been so kind and supportive of this blog and in return I would like to give you a present. It is a pattern for Three Amigos which is yours free to download from here and use as you would like.
It can be enlarged and constructed using fusing, or hand applique (ha!) Use any colors you may like.
For example. Lots and lots of colors. Have a great time. I am on my way to the dentist.
Thank you so much Ms Mel. This is why I like you so much, your generosity knows no boundaries. I'll let you know what I have done with my copy.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much!
What fun! The dreary winter has begun... color is a wonderful cure! Thank you!
ReplyDeleteYou make me laugh every morning, you inspire me with beautiful things, and *you're* thanking *me*? Thank YOU!
ReplyDeleteBut I never look a gift horse in the mouth. My son would love it if I made this quilt for him, and so I'll take it and run with gratitude!
I have to agree with Barb(on all counts) James would love this. He has 3 guitars and what a coincidence. I'm always looking for something he would appreciate-this is definitely it!
ReplyDeleteLovely.
ReplyDeleteHave fun at the dentist (snort).

TY...TY....TY! I appreciate this so much...along with the great bread recipe, and a delightful blog that makes my end-of-workday fun! You make me laugh (and occasionally cry) and I can't wait to get online and see what's going on in that non-stop brain of yours! Wish I could return the favor. :)

Cool! Thanks so much, Mrs. Mel! My DH is also a guitarist, so this is right on the money. WooHoo!

Thanks so much! You are wonderfully kind and generous. And talented too. And you like wild, crazy-bright colors! What's not to like?
ReplyDeleteHi Melody
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for your free pattern. I printed it out but the guitar on the right is cut in half - never mind.
We have a folk song here in New Zealand called '10 Guitars' It gets played/sung at just about every home party/do I've ever been to!
Verse:
I have a band of men and all they do is play for me.
They come from miles around to hear them play a melody.
Beneath the stars my 10 guitars will play a song for you.
And if you're with the one you love this is what you do.
Chorus:
Oo-oh dance. dance, dance with my 10 guitars.
Yery soon you'll know just where you are.
Through the eyes of love you'll see a thousand stars
Come on and dance, dance, dance with my 10 guitars
More information about the song (and some very nice Maori art work) is here:
