Cookie time!!! I saw some Biscotti in the store the other day and it was like $5 for about six. That told me it was time to make a batch for ourselves. These are chocolate chip pecan biscotti. Here they are before the second time in the oven for toasting. I used this recipe but of course had to change a few things. I didn't have butterscotch chips, so I substituted milk chocolate chips.

I don't have a cookie jar but managed to fit what was left after sampling in this empty coffee container. It works!
I also had the time to make another batch of oatmeal chocolate chip walnut raisin coconut cookies. I think of them as a cereal replacement at breakfast. Along with a bit of Canadian Mist. ha! I kid.
Dave is putting up the lights and we have Diana Krall's Christmas music on the mp3-stereo player. Next we will have a soak in the bubble tub and a call it a day! Priceless.

Can you post the recipe for these?
    The biscotti that is.

I've enjoyed your postings with your new move. Missed seeing you at the Chicago Schaumburg show though.

  4. I think you have another quick-seller here. If I can say that and not jinx it. The design is simple and uncomplicated, instantly recognizable and satisfying. And the colors are rich and yummy! Way to go!
