Pushed out of the nest

What nest? (a)Nest of snakes? or (b) the warm cozy nest of having my brother nearby to set up my computer. Choose (b).

I figured this out all by myself. Except for the networking part where I can go online with my laptop too.

But you know that can wait. As long as I have access I am a happy camper. This space under the stairs is just the thing isn't it? No need for a separate office. And with the now-working wall heater right behind my back, no more stiff necks from blogging in a cold basement.

  1. Just like Harry Potter. You have your space under the stairs.

  2. This will force you to keep the area neat, with it in view at all times. You should see my messy computer area!

Ms Mel, you will find out sooner than later that the space below the step just won't do. You are going to need a proper space. Apart from the draught, the dust that falls from the stairs shouldn't be underestimated. You could close the back of those steps or better still rip them out and install nicer stairs....in time, in time.

I was about to comment the same thing as anonymous above. I've had an open stair and mine was carpeted so some of the dust was stopped by the carpet but I wouldn't have sensitive computer equipment there unless you are careful to keep it covered when not in use.

The dust from the stairs is a critical issue. The fan on the tower will be sucking that stuff up just like a mini vacuum. Early hard-drive or motherboard death predicted.

  7. Hey Mel, not only is the dust from the stairs going to kill your PC but it's really bad feng shui to have the stairs over your head like that. Sorry :(
LOVED the Nacre quilt in the above post. YUMMY colors. Are you selling these or are they spoken for already? The ducks look happy in your pond.
    Happy furniture moving Mel!
