Apparently, Color Does Matter

Redline
Cotton and Silk, fused, hand and machine quilted
12x15"

I was just cleaning off my work surface and these bits fell into a pile so I went with it. I kept adding and subtracting and lining up and then called it a composition. Taking it out to the deck, I joined my husband who was engrossed in Kitchen Confidential, and stitched it up.
Then I went back to the sewing machine and quilted the rest of it.
While I enjoyed the process immensely, I am a bit underwhelmed this morning. The colors are kinda leaving me feeling...eeeoouuw.
O well, you win a few, you lose a few.

Not underwhelming, just different. Actually, turned so the big block of red is at the bottom left, it looks like another in the architecture/houses series--to me, anyway. :)

  4. Actually I like the bold bright colors. The red really makes it vibrant. Now while this may not be the ideal color in a serene spot in the house, it'd be perfect for a place of high energy. :-)
