I found a Purple Kitchen

Could this be an omen? We're back to looking online in the Asheville area, and having decided I had to have another white kitchen, here is one that was the color of my bathroom, which Dave just painted over into yellow.

Oodles of LIGHT.

I'm thinking I am happy again.

  5. Everybody stole my comment. Oodles of wall space for quilts! Take it from one who has no wall space, it's priceless!

Asheville is still not TOO far from Ikea in Atlanta either!!! About 200 miles - hmmmmm at 70 - 80 miles an hour you could be there in 2 or 3 hours!! It's a nice drive too.

  7. Wow...the pictures of that house look wonderful to me! And guess what? I have that kind of purple in my bathroom too! I thought I was the only one (the guy at the paint store raised his eyebrow at my choice!)

I love it! Ashville is as far south as you want or need to go. The weather is almost sublime - doesn't vary much from season to season - just enought to enjoy a change. Mississippi? I don't think so.

Ha! That's the color of my kitchen in the first house I ever rented. That house had the orange bathroom with bright yellow trim.

This looks like a lovely house. I know you really can't go wrong in the Asheville area. Meg would love to show you around.
