The new light fixture is glowing, altho we did lose a bulb and need to replace it. But it is up and much nicer than the previous fixture. The paint is the brightest yellow imaginable. Dave is my hero. He picked out the fixtures on his own. No nagging from me, and put them up himself. I helped hold things a little. I am so thrilled with the results.
A real medicine cabinet is behind this brushed nickel mirror. The frame matches the faucet.
This is an arty ladder which I acquired from Tommy, when she was cleaning out her beach house. I think it is fun to use this as a towel rack, but it is not of the same style as the elegant fixtures that Dave picked out, so I guess it won't be staying here. The yellow of the walls is more evident in this picture.
Southern Breeze
I am dreaming of warm gentle air, in contrast to the horizontal blizzards of the last two days.

Hi, I bet you don't need me to tell me the new pieces don't show up on your New Quilt site either...Cassie
ReplyDeleteThat ladder towel rack is way cool!
ReplyDeleteLove the ladder. Don't touch it. The quilts also -- which I can see!!! -- are divine. You are SO GOOD at staying right in the "ditch" with the quilting. I bet you avoid caffeine before that task.
ReplyDeleteI am really loving these small works of yours. The elegant and minimalistic hand stitching is so wonderful. These have a very pueblo look to them. the colors are stunning. Your hand dyes are the best!
