Carioca

Carioca

Hand dyed cottons, hand and machine quilted. 9.25x20.75"

French knots and multi-colored fabric boost the festive look of this piece. I am thinking Mardi Gras dancers in Rio. Warm thoughts for today's snowstorm.

Notice the heart shaped white spot in the fabric? My little Valentine for the day.

  3. I am really digging the new stuff. Sorry about the hand from too much hand work. I am alive and well and living in Floirda at 11:28 at night.

I have your blog bookmarked! Love your smaller works, too... the colors just make me happy!

Say, have you tried freeform knitting or crocheting? Also, I do hope you save all your trimming from your lovely hand-dyes!
