Misty Goodbyes

We woke up to a fog after the night's crashing thunderstorm. The kind of morning where staying in bed is one's first choice. Alas, it was not to be. The party's over and we have to return to our family, pets and other responsibilities of life. I feel like we all bonded so well and had so many wonderful discussions and laughter, that we will hopefully reunite, here at the Greenville Arms again.

The brook was really roaring from all the rain.

Don't you just wanna get on your waders and explore like a kid again?

Our little lunch spot looks so lonely in the mist.

As promised, Stacey finished her nuetral composition, and it is a big success. Woowoo! Of course she has lots more fabric to continue the series.

Her first piece is so wonderful too. This would work as a horizontal layout too.
At the last minute a few extra pieces of fabric had to go home with the class and my table had this note.

Me too Elfi, me too.

Thank you for sharing this workshop with those of us unlucky enough not to be there ... I really want to spend a week with you and see if you can unleash my creativity (I know it's lurking there somewhere.)

  4. Melody,

I have returned from a snowy Easter vacation and I am hyperventilating after catching up on your blog. Oh, the creative inspiration! The amazing work from your students! I want to abandon all unpacking and post-holiday chores to lock myself into my office with my Wonder-Under. You DO bring out the best in your students!
