After twenty or so attempts I got this back view. NOT too flattering is it?
The Shape It Scarf from Sally Melvilles' The Knit Stitch
The yarn I bought in New Zealand before it became ubiquitous in the US. All Polyester and nice and FLUFFY. Needles were probably 13 circulars. I forgot to pay attention and count the increases when it came to the length of the ties, which reaffirms my place in the Bohemian Knitters ring.
But really I meant it to look like this. The shoulder stay warm ( so do the nips) and nothing falls in the soup. A winner in my book.
Back to cleaning house.
Much better against the red background. I like this a lot! See ya next week at PIQF.
ReplyDeleteIt's cute but I would like it better if it buckled in the back; like the buckles that are used on fanny packs. I don't like sitting against big knots and having those tails point to my butt. . . pleeeze!
ReplyDeleteIts so *fluffy*!!
ReplyDeleteLooks great on you. Would not work for me, as keeping my nips outta the soup isn't the problem... rather, keeping the soup offa my nips... Therefore "white = see what I had for lunch" at my house!
Anywhoo, you have a finished object to show!!! That is always good. :)
Mrs. Mel, I really love that shawl and it looks good on you!
