'Twas the night before Christmas. . .

and all through the house, not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse. The stockings were hung on the chimney with care in hopes that St. Nicholas soon would be there. The children dawggies were nestled all snug in their beds,
While visions of sugar plums bones danc'd in their heads,
Chumley guards his bone
Were you a good dawggie this year?
He sprung to his sleigh, to his team gave a whistle,
And away they all flew, like the down of a thistle:
But I heard him exclaim, ere he drove out of sight —
Happy Christmas to all, and to all a good night.

From everyone here at the Mexican Chalet, may you all enjoy the feasting, family and friends at Christmas and have everything you want under the tree.

Merry Christmas!

I LOVE this version of the story, esp. the illustrations. I love that your great man Dave has made wrinkles in his forehead to match the doggies when they have a face to face. Honestly, all three of them are as cute a pile of pups as I've ever seen. May your days be merry and bright (as if they couldn't be in your Mexicano chaleto) and thank you--may you be blessed in a million ways for bringing joy, beauty, and laughter to our lives all year!
