I am being a total bum. I took a two hour morning nap, justified by having an empty house. The boys were getting mulch.  It's that time of year.
Then I sat on the porch and read all afternoon. I watched the fish, did a little knitting and made popcorn for dinner. A glorious day off.

Sounds like a fun day to me.

Looks like you could have had a fish dinner with some of your big fish (JOLE JOKE). Do you know how big they will get? I was once told that those fish can live 50 or more years, is that true?

What brilliant colours in your photo of the fish. The ripply water lines in overlapping circles would make a great quilting pattern!

  4. Great picture of the fish! Those are my colors... do you mind if I "try" to make a quilt from that one?

It's allowed. You are more productive than anyone I know, so a break now and then is OK.

  12. I thought I'd pop out of lurkdom and make a random comment. I do so love your blog-the colours, the style. It is so bright and happy and at this time of year in the "great white north" where we still have two feet of snow in the front yard, I need all the happy I can get! Thanks for all the inspiration.
