Adding the Skirt


 Really, the only reason to add the skirt was to match the white chair which also has one. I also had to use more of this stripe, as I have only a few more things to make and it works best here. Anyway, I am happy with how this turned out and now I am going to try it out for a few hours of knitting while I figure out what I will do to jazz up the chair and adjacent tables.

Chum has given it his seal of approval.

  11. You are such a great upholsterer Melody! BWY, do you use ordinary sewing (polyester) thread, or stronger thread when you sew upholstery? Or do you match the weight of the fabric? Doh - that's a dumb question, you would match the fabric weight, right?

  12. Love the ottoman. My younger daughter loves this room, and wants hers to be done in similar colors. What was the brand and name of that green paint color on your wall again? :)

    That dog is a HAM when it comes to taking pictures!

  14. Wow - do you know how to customize furniture. That ottoman is quite jazzy now. And I finally caught up with the new camera and adorable Chumley video. He's quite a characater! Enjoy your new work table, too! :-)
