The Fabric Arrived !

I am giddy! All this new stuff just waiting to be used. What shall I make? I plan, or sorta plan, on making valances, a bedspread, tablecloth, pillows, cushions, headboard cover, footstool cover, and something for my chair, like arm protective covers, and a back cushion, or maybe a skirt. I don't know... I will start somewhere and see where it takes me. The pink quilted fabric is the one I was holding my breath over. I was so hoping it was the same pink as the cottons, and it is. Phew! It is nylon which is pretty indestructible, which it needs to be, for pup jumping.
For a while I thought this would all be too much, but then I pulled out my copy of Freddy's House and I see I have a long way to go before I achieve glorious toomuchness. And I am happy to see the yellow in two of these fabrics, so that means I can include my own yellow touches here and there. A day without yellow...you know the rest.
Yes... it is a week before Christmas and you would think I would be too busy to do anything with this stuff, but I am not. My sister is having us over, and all I have to do is make the roast, potatoes and cookies. All last minute stuff. For gifts I have planned a short trip to Atlanta for us girls, staying overnight (pajama party!!) and shopping at arty shoppes, and girly boutiques, for after Christmas sales. No crowds, and no wrapping!
And I have finished the navy Eternity Scarf (#9) for Amie, just in time to send it to arrive before Christmas.

Now where shall I begin?

  4. I love all your choices and I'm so envious of your excitement! Since I've moved to Las Vegas I can't seem to get my artsy fartsy side going. I think about the days when I couldn't wait to get up to start working on beading. watercolor, polymerclay, quilting or whatever my current obsession was. I long for those days and hope everyday something will get me as excited as you are!
