Dave weathered the windy cold along with the Chumster to take a movie of his decorations. Chumley enjoys a run in the snow and stops to eat a little along the way. Love that snow beard near the end.
Now THAT is how home video should be. Good view of the empire, interrupted by dog. Good shots of landscaping in snow, with manic dog dog dog. Seems the colder he got, the faster Chumley went. Lovely country, owned by dog. Just ask the dog! Be glad he's shorthaired; long hairs and snow are very messy.
love the video....love the dog, of course, and the decorations were lovely. How did Dave get power down to the trees by the road? Thank Dave for braving the elements so that we could see how Chrismas looks at your house.
What a lovely video! Thank you Dave and Chumley. We're in the middle of summer and have just farewelled, son, daughter-in-law of one week and golden retriever pup to the beach up north where they'll camp for a short holiday. You wouldn't believe how packed the wagon was for just one week. No sign of the kitchen sink, but I'm sure it's in there somewhere! It was hard to tell who was the most excited, but I think the dog won by a nose!
A Happy White New Year to you, and your readers, from summery New Zealand
As an artist, one of my goals is to take risks, try new ideas, and find a way to give myself that 'thrill' that making art can provide. Words of encouragement are always accepted.

I don't think my pug has ever run that much. Now I want a puppy.
ReplyDeleteMy feet are cold just watching that bundle of energy run through the snow! Beautiful place!
