80% of success is just showing up.
Woody Allen
I watched this video on my friend Martha Marshall's blog and had to share it with you. I guarantee it will uncramp your creativity. 19 minutes long, so pick a time when you can quietly pay attention.

  4. Liz and her husband lived around the corner from me in rural Hunterdon County, NJ. (That is, i]until I moved to Tucson last June). They own a sweet store in Frenchtown, NJ: www.twobuttons.com They are both quite dear and down-to-earth.

    And now?
I suppose I'll just wait for my Ole´ moment.

Her talk was wonderful, really lovely.
I've been watching TED all morning, then sometimes I forget to watch TED for weeks. Today I remembered so this is a timely post. In fact, I've just been watching Corneille Ewango talk about his work.

And for ideas on how to spend your creative energy? Check out TED's *Bill Strickland* talk. Very inspiring, very.

  14. THere's a wonderful book called FREE PLAY about improvisation in life and art by Stephen Nachmanovitch that my husband "made me" read when I was feeling stuck as a classical vocalist. I highly recommend it to you as a reminder that we do our best when we get out of the way of the art - surrender to it - and allow beauty to seep in as it sees fit and when it sees fit. Thanks for the video.
