A Better Neckline
The front of the Heartbeat Sweater from Just One More Row. Sometimes I wore this side as the back.
Sorry, but her website is currently under construction. I made this last February and wore it a few times but the neckline is the same in the back and it kept bothering me.
This is the other side, same as the first side. I used Noro Kureyon yarn.
I was proud of myself for following the pattern directions almost exactly for a change, and didn't want to admit that I hated the way it felt when I wore it, slipping off my shoulders as it did.
Finally today I decided to rip out the neckline and add a fill-in triangle to the back and reknit the neck.
So much better!
Now I like this so much I think I will make it in a summer weight yarn, with short cap sleeves like the pattern shows.
You are a baaaaaaaaaaad woman! I have already had to buy BOTH these patterns because you've featured them on your blog but haven't made them yet. I'm knitting another of Jill's patterns at present, a lacy cardigan that's a summer design but I'm elongating the sleeves and making it a winter one. She has great designs!
