An inspiring display of my old and new prints.

We spent all day Saturday getting our house back in order, moving furniture, putting away Christmas decorations, and culling foods from the larder. (We have a larder?)
Somehow in all this cleanliness we have misplaced a Netflix dvd. What do we do about that?
.
My studio was pretty OK, but I saw that I have at my fingertips some things I am not using and have stored stuff I need easier access to, and that led to frogging some knits in favor of making something else from them. I can't just rewind, I have to have pull cakes. So tidy.
I have lots of Koigu, and other hand-dyed wools of a similar weight from Sophies Toes and I think a cardigan is on the horizon for these yarns. It is warm, too warm here for most of my knits and I must think thinner, lighter, finer if I can consider ever wearing the finished product.
My poor sister and niece missed every connection on their way home to Singapore and of course their luggage did not make the trip with them. It has been located, in transit but how dispiriting.
So it's back to work for us all and new projects on the horizon. What will it be?
Look in all CD and DVD cases for the missing Netflix DVD. Also look in the player.
ReplyDeleteMy poor studio is still occupado with Thom's stuff. I envy you being able to get your studio cleaned so easily.
ReplyDeleteOf course, I am using the dis-connect from my fabric as an excuse to paint. Not so bad I guess.
Sorry to hear about Brooke and Glory's return home...but how predictable with the airlines today.
At least they are home safe and sound. This is good news.
ReplyDeleteI do love that ladder!!!! Color is just such a spirit lifter! That and laughing yoga!!!! I think I am going to go to that class tomorrow. I will let you know how it goes!
You are inspirational. I shall begin to do better tomorrow. How I know this will happen is that there is a snowstorm coming and little in the way of distraction to lead me down the path of badness. Repeating in a singsong manner "I will not go and buy goodies for the snowstorm" "I will not trip around the village avoiding my work" Who said that?
ReplyDeleteWe lost a Netflix dvd over the holidays, too. I finally ponie up the $20 yesterday. They will refund it if I find it in the next year. But really, I have given up.
