I decided on this one

The Alvin Workmaster. Table top is 36x48" and the height is adjustable up and down, with tiltable top too, of course. I think I am getting the white base. Who cares?

It looks the sturdiest and came with free shipping and no stinkin' sales tax. I hope I don't bonk my knees too many times.

That's the table I have. I leave the top level at standing work height for cutting. I have a tall wooden stool for the occasional times I sit at the table to work. Too bad the table top is at least half covered with stuff (bottle of brushes, piles of two other project fabric and source docs, tape dispenser, DC player, etc.) all the time, leaving only half the top available for working. I have never banged my knees and that ledge is very handy. Little CD speakers are on either end of it and calligraphy paper and drawing pads and square rulers are kept there.

  2. That is the one I would have chosen too because of the legs with the crossbars. I think it will be the strongest and sturdiest.
