Susan passed away on Monday at 2pm. We are going to Chicago to discuss the funeral arrangements. Thank you all for your kindness and prayers. We appreciate you so much.
For Dave ( and Melody): We send you our deepest sympathy and wish you strength and peace in the days ahead. Warmest wishes from your fellow "Beemer buddies" in Canada,
I feel for both of you at this very very sad time. I hope you can both find the good times you had with Susan some comfort. This sort of pain is very hard to carry. With love, Sally
We are holding the two of you in our hearts here. Your quilts (and your stories about this incredible love and partnership that you and Dave share) has brought us such joy. It's hard to think of you in pain.
What a gift it is for Mel and I to have a group of friends as yourselves. Your kind wishes and loving prayers will always be remembered. What a lucky man I am.
Dear Melody & Dave, May all the joy you've shared with us return now to embrace you with healing love during this time of grief. You & your family are in my prayers. God bless you! Olenka
I drove past your house on Summerdale this morning, ran into your sister Carol and found out about Sue's passing. I am deeply, utterly sorry. I hold so many wonderful memories of Sue and your family.
Visited with your dad, Richard, and I pray for your mom, Ruth, and her condition in the nursing home. Also talked for a long while with Bruce Berkowitz over the phone this evening.
Dave, I hope your health, too, stays strong.
Just wanted to send my condolences from Chicago and let you know I am mourning Sue. She was one of the best friends I ever had. I regret not knowing about her cancer until it was too late.
As an artist, one of my goals is to take risks, try new ideas, and find a way to give myself that 'thrill' that making art can provide. Words of encouragement are always accepted.
I answer my emails faithfully, so please send me your thoughts. fibermania@gmail.com or call me at 423-653-9109
