At the crack of 9:00 we all set off for a spirited bike ride (except for me, who had to roller blade instead, needing to work off several weeks of non-dieting behavior). Brooke is riding my bike which happens to have baskets, capable of carrying home items from the multitude of neighborhood garage sales. Pictured above is Glory's Most Stuff for the Moolah purchase. All that nail polish for only 5 cents a bottle.
Gack! They move and light up. $10.
We had all those colors to choose from for our pedicures and we all wanted SILVER.
Glory did my toes, and has a definite tilt towards Abstract Expressionism.
Ah Dave- the King of Kitsch.

Those "thingys" between your toes make great bobbin holders too! A tip I read in the new magazine "Quilters Home".

I love Dave's purchases. Never seen anything like them.
ReplyDeletewhat fun you girls are having. Dave would fit right in around here. I'm constantly grateful for being on a very secluded hillside that can't be seen from the road. I'm guessing those will decorate the back yard. Cool!! garage sales around here are sucky.
ReplyDeleteI had that flamingo!! We set it out at Christmas time (yeah, we're tacky here.) It committed sucide this past holiday season - its neck broke off completly. I'm going to miss him this year...
