The Retreat:Day Two
,,

I am here again on the nun's library computer, knowing full well that you want pictures and gossip, but you will just have to wait until tomorrow. I took 126 pictures yesterday at the Milwaukee Art Museum and in the Third Ward art district and have them on my own laptop which cannot be connected online here. ggrrr.
Just you wait til tomorrow when I get home. It will be worth it.

Today we will go to the Racine Museum and see the Michael James exhibit. Art is already coming out of my ears. woowoo!

psst... the wine is all gone...

  1. Oooh, I am really curious about Michael James' new work made from his digital prints. What I have seen so far is only on small reproductions, and I have had not been able to see any quilting. Is it quilted much? And what do you think of the compositions? I'm looking forward to reading your reactions. Keep having fun!

  2. Thanks to your mentioning it, I linked into the Racine Museum and they have pix that show the detail of MJ's work enough for me to get an idea of what quilting he does.

I hope you enjoyed the show.
