Ch-ch-ch-Changes!

Those of you that use other browsers like Firefox will now notice that my blog is suddenly behaving.
And those of you who use IE will not notice any change in the blog. How great is that? I was 'fixed' by famous fabulous quilt artist and Gal Geek Lisa Call. My sidebar is now easily readable and you may note that I have moved up the 'educational links' to the top to make it easier for my students to find quickly. I mention the blog entries when I lecture and teach, so that they don't have to remember every dye I use or how to make the Escape Hatch Finish.
Thank you so much Lisa for coming to my rescue, and I hope you all find this template scheme less annoying than the previous one.
Yesterday it was 5 below zero at noon. I am leaving the frigid weather behind on Wednesday for a short week at Chez Tommy in Sunny Florida which promises to be a real vacation. My usual vacation means staying home, which leads immediately to working anyway. When one is self employed it is almost impossible to keep thoughts of impending responsibilities at bay. So I will be 'forced' to break this habit while at Tommy's. I have already sent my rollerblades ahead, and now the arduous task of selecting a bathing suit that will not cause public humiliation.
From there I will be flying to the New Jersey Quilt Fest, March 2-5 where I will be teaching and having a one person exhibit of 16 of my larger works, some new and some classic. I hope to meet lots of you East Coasters while I am there.
