I have to put away my oil paints and so this is a fast substitute.

There was very little wind so the snow piled up vertically, with no discernable drifting. Dave will be getting to use his trusty snowblower and there will be pathways and high flying snow any minute.
I am staying inside and keeping warm with this libation from Sandra Lee and Semi-Homemade on Food TV.
Cinnamon Roll Cocktail
Ingredients:
6 cups boiling water
1/2 cup instant cinnamon-flavored cappuccino or coffee mix
2 shots caramel liqueur
2 shots vanilla rum
2 shots cinnamon schnapps
2 shots dark rum
Non-dairy whipped topping, and Cinnamon sticks for garnish
Instructions
Add boiling water to instant coffee. Stir until completely dissolved. Combine remaining ingredients into a large pitcher, stirring thoroughly as you add each ingredient.
Immerse oneself in a bathtub with hot foamy water, light candles, play soft jazz, imbibe cocktail slowly, turn prune-y.

ONLY got 8-10 inches? ONLY? We got 1'' here the other night (the one and only time it has snowed this year) and they CLOSED OUR SCHOOLS. Just wanted to give you something to giggle over there. I'm terribly jealous.
