Closet Success

I know this is dopey, but I had to show you that Dave The Magnificent fixed the closet and we are back in bidness!

The upper tier breathes a sigh of relief.

Note the vast amount of unused hangers, and the wide open spaces available to fill. O yes, I cannot be hindered by a crash or two. This is actually the second time this happened. I think it is the fault of the drywall, not my excessive collecting. REALLY.

I went through and culled ridiculous garments and made a pile for the Goodwill.
Sometime soon I will have to start doing some quilt related posts, since I keep inviting quilting folks to read my blog. Guilt.
But first
BOSTON LEGAL RETURNS TONIGHT!!!
9 Central, 10 Eastern on ABC
Can autumn be that close?

  1. Ah BLESS YOU FOR THIS. I would have missed these.

I'm sure that these are the shows ordered for last season that weren't shown when Grey's Anatomy kicked Boston Legal out of the Sunday slot.

And a perfect way to get "into the habit" of catching them during the regular season.

  2. I just finished "summerizing" my closet [Summer lasts a long time here in Houston] and so found your post interesting, especially how you arranged your clothes. Mine are all in sections by type and then within the type by color: RoyGbiv approach/all short sleeve together/all long sleeve together. I have always done that & I thought I was just too obsessive about it but my new husband does his clothes the same way. Anyway, just an observation!

  4. Lovely closet repair. But let me get this straight...you get a rack and a half, and Dave gets to hang 2 items?

    sounds right to me.

    Hey, Melody,
If you decide to go through your "closet" of fabric and have an "e-yard sale", let me know, I'll be first in line. :)
