Having a new high energy puppy in the house
has really worn out the very laid back Chumster. He found a quiet spot under the bed (amongst the bags of quilts) where he could rest up for the next Tony the Tormenter attack. Does he remind you of a sea lion? (I had to get on my knees for this picture, just FYI)
But it didn't take long for the Terror named Tony to find him. Poor Chum.
Here's Susan T's swatch. She lives in Vegas and these desert colors are just right for her red hair.

I hope Chumley likes Tony? Are they getting along ok? I guess Tony doesn't realize Chumley doesn't have as much energy as he does.
ReplyDeleteChumley looks pretty fed up!
ReplyDeleteI love the colors of the current sweater!
When we got Bubba, our shelter cat, he was the same way with our older cat until he grew up. He was about 15 months old when we got him, but still full of P&V!
ReplyDeleteI love the yarn colors, and use colors like that a lot in my decor and artwork. You do such beautiful work, Mel! Lucky ladies that will be wearing your sweaters...
Am loving this teal and orange combo. Love your work, Melody, new puppy is a wow!
ReplyDeleteThat is so funny with Chum hiding under the bed! I just hope Chum is tolerant of Tony and doesn't bite Tony to get him to leave him alone. I am just getting caught up from the weekend and you have a lot of sweaters to knit! The color combos are beautiful! Those will be some lucky ladies!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous!!! You were so right. They are the perfect colors. My friends are going to be so envious. I love seeing all the other swatches, too.
ReplyDeleteI hope Tony will figure out when it's time to play and when it's time to nap since both are vital for a perfect day!
Oh...dear Chumley looks as if he is pleading for some peace! They will be the best of mates once Tony loses some of his puppy energy. Don't let the dawgs see those swatches or they'll be asking for winter warmer s for themselves!
ReplyDeleteOh! I just found your blog, a bit late to order one of those fabulous sweater/jackets. If any of your orders fall through and don't pan out, I would love to step in and purchase one from you! I am not picky on the colors as I, a quilter, love color! Please let me know.
ReplyDeletePoor Chum, a guy has to find a space of his own!
ReplyDeleteROFL - Chumley looks exhausted!
ReplyDeleteAw, poor little Chumley! It's hard when a frisky puppy enters the picture...
