The Chicago School of Fusing show is up at the National Quilt Museum in Paducah, Kentucky through October 4, 2011. I have 4 or 5 quilts in this exhibit and another one in their permanent collection.
There is tremendous excitement over this announcement.

Clearly, they have internalized their excitement.
ReplyDeleteCongrats Mel. It's a beautiful venue to display the work as well.
So happy for you. A well-deserved honor for you and the rest of the Chicago School ladies.
ReplyDeleteCongrats from me as well!!!!! The Dawgs are just a little introverted, but I can tell from the lay of their tails that they too are excited. I will have to try to make the trip to view the work. Viewing any of the work from the CSOF always makes me happy!
ReplyDeleteThick and Thin here
ReplyDeleteCongratulations!
ReplyDeleteWhat do dogs know...they eat their own vomit after all.
Congratulation....I wish I were close enough to see the exhibit.....
ReplyDeleteI have to say, Chummy appears to be taking more than his share of the ottoman....but obviously Dexter doesn't mind......
Have a great Saturday....
I've never been there. Perhaps this might be a good year to take a trip to see the quilts in the museum as well as your show.
ReplyDeleteThey are probably exhausted from celebrating last night... Congrats on
ReplyDeletePaducah!
That is very cool! Congratulations!
ReplyDeleteHmm I am thinking maybe they should be called Chubster and Chum.
ReplyDeleteLove today's pix.

Congrats on the CSOF honor. Funny how when pugs relax, so do those curly, swirly tails!
ReplyDeleteYour dawg on the left needs to slim down like yesterday.
ReplyDeleteI am laughing hysterically over the excitement. However disinterested "others" might be, I am thrilled for you and the other Fusers. Well deserved congrats!!!!

ReplyDeleteAs much as I love love love your quilts, your dawgs are the best. It warms my heart that Dexter and Chumley are such great friends.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on the exhibit. You are in such great company.
