The Star of the Show

You probably don't want to hear about how I cleaned up the house, made caramel apples, and homemade soup, did laundry and reclaimed the studio for myself. You want to see Chumley pictures.

I bought a bag of toys at the dollar store but he prefers twigs and stones to balls etc. Anything to chew.

And since Dave has been house painting, the mini roller is just Chumley's size. He carries it around the yard, and kills it again and again.
He spent the night alone in the studio and planning ahead we made sure his last walk was 'productive' and I am happy to report, the studio remained clean this morning. I am hoping this is the wave of the future.

I have plans to work in the studio today. While looking at Ravelry I found this yarn site and thought they had a great idea to dye smaller skeins in closely related colors, and then graduate the yarns in a project, like socks for instance.

Too yummy for words! See this site to order. I'm making my own.

  4. He is just too darn cute! Be warned; my cocker spaniel was a perfect puppy until he turned one and then became a holy terror and started to chew up the entire house.

Thank you for the Chumley picures. Of course we all want to know about everything else too.

Beautiful color yarns. At my knitting guild, we had a demo of making scarfs with sock yarn and size 2 needles. I see more scarfs with this yarn.

  9. How big will Chumley get? He is so precious. I know you and Dave are glad that you have Chumley to protect you both from all the terrorizing sticks, stones and mini rollers.

  13. Did Chumley meet Popeye yet and if so, do we get to read a blog about what happened (I would really like to read about that, preferably with pictures, if that's not too much trouble for you).....
